RADIANATION - KARMONY (LOUIPIMPS INC.) |

Not to be mean, but it's a little hard to get a review
off the ground when the music in question is mostly a
pedestrian example of the genre(s) at hand. I could
simply describe the genres being practiced on
Radianation's "Karmony" and for the most part I'd have
described the CD. It isn't horrible and it is
listenable but it has little in the way of originality
or individuality; the hooks are missing. It's almost
as though I was listening to a template instead of a
fully fleshed out CD. This would make good background
music for mood's sake or if you just wanted some beats
for your friends to dance to after a couple of drinks.
But it lacks perk and zest. Now, there are a couple of
highlights, including "Nonstop Dancing" with its
decent funk-rooted edge and "Minds Exit," a fairly
solid example of epic trance. But, mostly, I couldn't
help but thinking that these tracks are pretty but
