NAW’s music on “Green Nights Orange Days” is experimental but maintains accessibility in a couple of ways. For one thing, the experimentation exists within a conventional dance song structure; specifically, the music is beat driven, using low key thumping that recalls Latex Empire or subdued, mid-tempo goa. It’s a bit of a chilled groove. Adding to the texture are dubbish melodies that resonate like deep space etherea. Increasing the accessibility of what is otherwise otherworldly music, is the encompassiong ambience. This is sort of pressed down and flattened - muted, but in a good way - deep house, whose power you feel in a more, well, deep way, hence the term. The music is compelling and uber-listenable and makes for a wonderful introspective detour to outer space. -- review by Kristofer Upjohn
