Wow, what a surprise treat. This batch of ambient, minimalist techno and such is a shadowy and uberpretty trek through the woods of some fantasy land. The atmosphere conjured by this collection of tracks from Noise Factory artists is a superb journey into the sort of audio marvel that can be generated by primo handling of electronic elements. And the artists herein know how to make much of little. By this I mean that these are people who know how to exploit minimalist musical structures and create songs that expand well past their spartan roots. Huge atmosphere, tenebrous mien ... these flavorful excursions into beautiful shadow are irresistible. -- review by Kristofer Upjohn
