What Grayhound presents on Grayhound Presents: Garth "Unleash the Hound" is a deftly crafted scaffolding of bouncing, moving techno elements that movie like excited atoms as they weave together into a light but not weak construction of hooky, house-inspired-but-more-than-house infectiousness. The streams of the music's parts dance and play around each other with exhilaration that's more than a little contagious. Boasting house's nighttime ambience and highflying, bouncy pep, "Unleash the Hound" wastes no time unleashing the hound. It doesn't hold its cards close to the chest, choosing instead to break out the goods early on, which may not hold with the thoughtful build of progressive but gets moving right out of the gate and runs with the ball.
