This release manages to combine a variety of flavors - house, trance, electro and more - into a compilation that sparkles with bright melodies and cruises along with a nice pulse. Eclectic without being jumpy, the track selection reveals some comp construction skills on the part of JDH & Dave P. Flavors shift enough from track to track but without leaving a sense of songs having been artificially lumped in together. It's a good disc. The down side is that it never quite generates a sense of excitement with the listener (though I must say when it introduces house elements, it avoids dullness). But that still doesn't mean it's not a good release. This is a solid batch of tracks and dance fans will find some stuff to groove to herein. -- review by Kristofer Upjohn
