BassNectar once again proves its mettle and displays its originality. Quirky melody structures wrap around bass and hip-hop elements in a sound that is decidedly unique. There's nothing quite like it. The grooves are appealing, to say the least, and the melodies and textures unfold in surprising ways. It's the kind of CD you keep listening to just because you can't predict where it's going to go. This is an example of talented genrebending with the end result being something that defies categorization.
