Ambivalence arises. On the one hand, Nymph is definitely an artist with something original to offer. Yet it never quite seems to click in. Now, having said that last bit, I can easily see this finding a fan base. It's quirky and genre-bending and more than a little sexy in, well, a "Geek Pop Star" kind of way. In fact, the title of this disc is uber-appropriate since it combines in a swirl the flavors of pop, the cutting edge attitude of indie, fringe-pushing electronic based rock and a bit of Bjork-style pretentiousness (but in a good way). Nymph's mingling of these styles leaves one realizing one has just tasted a gumbo of mixing flavors that together are greater than the sum of its parts.-- review by Kristofer Upjohn
