Funker Vogt does what Funker Vogt does best. "Aviator" presents the unique sound for which this band has become known and upon which it has developed its fan base. Funker Vogt boasts trance like melodies and structures and industrial personality with some darkened synth pop sensibilities. A bit angry and definitely assertive but with less of the abrasiveness of grimmer industrial acts (though still with the right dollop of distortion mixed among the cleaner sounds), "Aviator" is a fully functional introduction to what it is that Funker Vogt does. This act hooks the listener with nice dance grooves and alluring electronic melodies, topping it all off with one-of-a-kind vocals. -- review by Kristofer Upjohn
