What Angels Voices lacks in originality it makes up for in terms of sheer, lush beauty. Angels Voices is admittedly a tad derivative. This is nothing new, we've seen (heard, rather) this kind of etherea before. But while it walks (floats?) a well-trodden path, it sure as hell knows how to walk. Or float. Probably the latter. Chilled, downtempo grooves are the bed clouds these angels drift across. Pretty richness fills up the audio space with innocent seduction, filling one's soul with warmth. It won't convince any newcomers to the chillout world or turn the hearts of genre naysayers but it will offer a satisfying addition to initiates' CD collections.-- review by Kristofer Upjohn
