Mike Casil's "Lost Wonders" is designed for those who want a bit of an eclectic journey through electronica. Not one to confine himself to one particular genre, Casil here guides the listener through a variety of styles - while still maintaining artistic uniformity. Romping across a broad soundscape - psychedelic grooves, breaks, electro, trance, spacey dance, drum & bass/hip-hop fusion (of sorts), even a track that sounds like it came from the synth soundtrack to an 80s film - Casil offers a fascinating peek into the way he thinks creatively. Obviously, he is in love with electronica and wants to share that love with others. He wants to see what kind of mind fascination can be achieved with electronic music and he proceeds to accomplish it in a variety of stylistic fashions.-- review by Kristofer Upjohn
