Club Anthems wisely builds until it concludes with its strongest three tracks, Commander Tom's "Attention", Tiesto's "Just Be" and 4 Strings "Until You Love Me," which all incorporate the best elements of trance into the club style. While those are easily three of the standout pieces on the disc, there isn't a bad track to be found here. From the moody funky Latin groove meets moody whistled melody on "The Killer's Song" (which borrows from Bernard Herrmann's "Twisted Nerve") to the dirty bass-driven "dirty filthy" and from "Shine's" disco-house flaves to the straightforward club pop of "All This Time," this disc provides a solid if not breathtaking dose of club music to jam to. Every track on here is good and contributes in its own way to the energy, melody and beats of the compilation. -- review by Kristofer Upjohn
