Don't let the "Yoga Planet" title put you off. If I was browsing through the chillout CDs at the music store and came across this, I'd think the same thing you're probably thinking. Oh, great, another friggin' new age cheesefest. Fortunately not. The Gordon Brothers obviously know their way around chillout music. The music opens like a beautiful flower, lush melodiousness escaping like pollen, invading your senses. The textures are delicate yet full-bodied. It's full of space, yet the space is full. Getting caught up is what music is all about, and The Gordon Brothers play a wicked game of catch. And they lift you up. How cool is that?
