From big beat LSD to electro playfulness, from instrumental, textured melodies to sparkly electronic pop, Momu's "Momentum" is a CD of bright, sharp colors - and I'm not talking about the cover art. Charming, if not mesmerizing, the personality of Momu's music remains intact across a span of songs that nudge around various corners, exploring but not venturing into stretched eclecticism. Laid back and mid-range tempos keep things light, as does the overall mien of the music. From non-vocal chilled thrills to vaguely European attitude in sung numbers, "Momentum" sort of hints around in a flirty way, like it's teasing you - this one might take you home, or not, but you'll have a good time anyway. No regrets. Just like hearing this CD. It's not a sure thing, but you won't mind losing the time spent to drift around in it.-- review by Kristofer Upjohn
