For a reviewer, Little Plastic Pilots is a challenging
artist to cover. It‚s a little hard to pin down music
like this and it‚s not always easy to summon an
lingual construct that will adequately convey the
audio in question. I think I can safely say this much:
LPP has intelligently crafted into a homogenous
eclecticism an array of influences that include
ambient, downtempo, spoken word/sampling, glitch,
jazz, breaks, space music and more. The end result of
this amalgam (and I‚m sure there are other elements
I‚m failing to mention here) is an otherworldly set of
electronic tracks that also have a bit of an organic
being, as well. This is a mind surrounding music
experience that makes you want to stop whatever else
you‚re doing so you can close your eyes and focus your
full attention on the mesmerizing quietude of LPP‚s
