Minimalism and diversity come together better than the Beatles in this succulent but streamlined, stripped down but atmospherically full-bodied, elegant but slick and smart party grooved slab of great house grooves. Mr. G brings the soul to the house with his house grooves. Keeping his personality firmly in control from song to song, he nonetheless explores the furthest reaches of his creative persona, with each song having its own take on how Mr. G does house. No boredom here, folks. This is one of the best 2010 house records you're apt to hear and if you think house is dead (like I used to), you should put "Still Here" on your ears' heart and give 'em some defibrillation.
